It is a sad story. Both governments failed and failed their people. Government of Egypt was supposed to condemn the attack of the Algerian team. The attack is the work of criminels not the people of egypt. Instead, the government let the media redicul the Algerian team and proclam they did to thenselves. The Algerian government should condemn the violence in Sudan. The algerian people did not attack the egyptian supporters. Those who attacked the egyptian are criminels and should be punished.
Both governments used this match to hide their failure to take care of their people. They used this match to diverge their people from the real problems. Those problems are: no democracy, no freedom, correption, poverty, joblessness, bad education,

Why should Iran “come clean” with their nuclear program? The US doesn’t own the world, neither does the UN or the “Western World”. If we are serious about freedom, let Iran build the nukes and suffer the same responsibilities the rest of the countries, that have nukes have to deal with. They are no more a threat than the H1N1 is.

President Obama will view this trip to Asia with regret. Nothing was achieved. Obama humiliated America and the Chinese now know they hold the upper hand. Obama’s naivete and inexperience was abundantly clear to America and the world! The Chinese now know they can bully this weak President. Obama’s bow to the Emperor of Japan will be remembered because it perfectly tells the world how weak and troubled the United States is. Obama, more than likely, will never recover from that Asian trip. Obama showed weakness and a self-consciousness that the Chinese, Iranians, Russians, and North Koreans looked at and took glory in.

There has been a war tradition that the winner not only gets to write the history, they get to keep the land they’ve conquered. As I remember it, a outnumbered Israel was attacked by the Arabs for no other reason that they had come into existence - the Arabs LOST! OK, Israel improves it borders & should have proven its right to exist. Didn’t happen. Israel & Egypt make a deal that both have honored for years to their mutual advantage. Carter works at brokering a deal between Israel & Arafat - Arafat WALKS AWAY after Israel puts EVERYTHING & more on the table!

Fast forward. I wish Israel didn’t do the things it does but I can’t think of anything else for them to do.

No. Iran won’t give up its quest to become a nuclear power unless it faces a credible threat to prevent it.

That would mean either crippling economic sanctions, endorsed by Russia and China, as well as the U.S. and Western Europe or a grave and credible military threat from Israel and/or NATO members.

Israel doesn’t rule out the possible use of military force to prevent Iran from nuking it first.

The west has unilaterally ruled out military force. And, Russia and China would not support really tough economic sanctions against Iran.

So, Iran has nothing to worry about.

By the way, I strongly disagree with your guest on the program Friday night. He thinks Obama’s soft approach toward Iran needs more time. I think Iran’s refusal to cooperate is clear. The Iranian leadership knows that Obama is a pushover.

am a british citizen and i went to egypt several times diversity is the idea of egypt alot of cultures never battled together but blended in unusual magical way that made the egyptian a unique wonderful blend of their old civilization and new one , i loved that countrey so much and the a american that said brutal and violent egyptian can tell us the rate of crime at his countrey ,that almost destroyed the world with its foreign approach to the world,egyptian are great people and wonderfull hosts and a lack of money they are in doest make them bad ,they have good minds and great scientist in every area even in the usa they use them like ahmed zoweel,the nobel prize winner and algeria is not the one that should won the qualification,they didi by knives in a world that approve that by his called fifa

The Egyptian civilisation is 5000 years old, the Tassili civilisation is 10.000 years old, so the Touareg from southern Algeria were the pharaos ancesters. The Egyptians call themselves a big and old civilization, what I know from them is that they have a dirty country go and see CAIRO, it is a real trash, they have more than 60% of people without any education and poor. As an US citizen when I went there I was surprised to see that. The people there are very brutal with each other I don’t see any civilization. When they say they were the victims it’s clearly a fabricated story.
Can you imagine Algerian players causing injuries like that to themselves? doesn’t make any sense to me.I also went to ALgeria it is one of the most beautiful country I ever seen, the people there are very nice I think Egyptians are just not accepting that Algeria is the real country with civilization the Egyptians are the Arabs trash.

We need to live loving as religious Muslims, shouldn’t we forget the past, perhaps we would be able to live like human beings for once, forgive our neighbors don’t repeat the past.

Respect others and play the game to the best of your ability and not for personal or political reasons. We should change the past and live loving with others no matter the religion, race, sex or indifference we have with each other. Embrace life to the fullest, tomorrow is not promised to us, we don’t need enemies but peace in the world today. Let’s make this place we call earth, a better place for you and for your generations to come. The authors of the above comments must all be either muslim, evangelicals or just plain Israel Haters.
All of you fools are forgetting One Major Point, Israel and it’s government has Never Proclaimed the destruction of Another Soverign State.
That is an offense under UN rules, but those threats are Ignored. Would the US ignore direct threats from Other UN members???

The weapons of Israel are purely defensive!
The weapons that Iran wishes to develop are for Purely Destructive means.
It’s only a matter of time before Israeli F-16’s blow up nuclear plants in Iran because Obama wishes to play the time game.
Wake up and get real, Iran doesn’t know anything but Hatred and destruction. Your support for Iranian nuclear development will only cause more pain for the Iranian people.
