Obama and the World: Africa

For part 2 of our Obama and the World series on the first year of Obama’s foreign policy, we turn to Africa.

Barack Obama, the first U.S. president of African origin, visited the continent last summer to great fanfare.

To discuss Obama and Africa, Martin Savidge is joined by Sarjoh Bah, a senior fellow at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation, and Emira Woods, co-director of the Foreign Policy in Focus program at the Institute of Policy Studies.
