As part one of a multi-part series we are launching tonight that we call “Obama and the World,” we take a detailed look at American foreign relations.
Tonight, our focus is on Iran — and the stalemate over its nuclear program. It’s an issue most analysts believe will be one of the top foreign policy stories in 2010.
Martin Savidge is joined by Ervand Abrahamian, a distinguished professor of history at the City University of New York, and Arang Keshavarzian, a professor of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University.
