The US relationship with Pakistan is very problematic. I support the idea of being proactive as appose to reactive when it comes to terror but the current policy is not working and I don’t see it working in the future without dramatic changes. A leader who supports US drone attacks in quite but condemns it publicly is not a leader we should trust. Zardari needs to explain why he supports drone attacks, why his government is supportive of US government policy in eradicating terrorism and why it is in Pakistan’s interest to Support US . If Zardari is lying to his people what makes you think he will be honest with US. I think the change needs to be more macro then what we see. The US should pull out of Afghanistan and Pakistan, stop aiding them politically and economically, and build an International arms force to stop terrorism around the world. The arms force should be Special Forces that work around the clock around the world to stop terrorist activity from any country. To deal with nation building is crazy, for example, Afghanistan’s president ( Karzai)to say they will rely on US economically for the next 15 years is nuts – the US cannot solve all the problems in the world it can hardly solve its own problems. Lets leave the world as it is, while making sure we eliminate terrorist capability against US and our partners. That is what the war in Iraq is about and that is what US policy should be – As little as possible sovereign interference while instilling fear and unworthiness in supporters and sympathizers of terrorist attacks. God Bless America may we stand strong.
