Fools! Islam can be at war with Christians and Jews, that’s fine and dandy! But Christians and Jews must turn the other cheek when they are attacked! Islam is becoming a violent religion and it is becoming evil where the believers are being led to fight the Christian and Jew; infidels according to the Muslim!

it would be interesting to investigate how christians are treated in muslim countries how many non muslim places of worship exist in saudi arabia? or pakistan? what is the rate of crimes commited on christians citizens of muslim coutries? .we must see what is going on there before we criticize europe or anybody else. iam looking fordword to see your report and analysis.thank you.
Taking military pressure off gihadists in their home regions is not a good idea. Neither is a Vietnam-style escalation to prop up a corrupt regime. The only answer left is for NATO to be the harasser of the Taliban element, not the occupier of Afghanistan — saw a cool site; Balkingpoints ; awesome satellite view of earth

The comment regarding the Swiss ban on moslem minarets. Your guests missed the point when they made the typical liberal blanket statement attributing that to a phobia against the immigrants. Garrick U claimed that the US, as a country of immigrants, is superior in this respect. He is wrong. The Swiss voters would have no problems with Buddhists or Hindus building their temples with 100 ft tall pagodas! The reason: The people of these religions have no problem with liberal democracies. In fact, they adapt very well to this enviroment. The moslems have a problem with liberal democracies. While they enjoy the personal freedom such democracies offer, at the same time, they are conflicted because the concept of liberal democracy and pluralism is anaethema to their religion, Islam!! That is why the phrase “Secular Moslem” is an oxymoron! Islam says that a moslem, if he is a minority in a community, can utter any lies to advance the cause of Islam. That is called the Taqqiya Principle. Allah will forgive him for uttering those lies. The non moslems have to be worried about moslems in their midst because they will never know if the moslems’ loyalty to their countries is genuine or not!! Are they applying the Taqqiya principle when they swear allegiance to the liberal democracy?? I don’t blame the Swiss voters for expressing their concern the way they did.
I agree with Messrs. Kristof and Utley. An increase in troops numbers will lead inevitably to an equal and opposite ideological reaction for support and sympathy for the fundamentalist Islamic fighters, the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. Moverover, the troop increase is still not enough to cover the required territory. I am surprised that one alternative that has not been raised has been a decrease in regular military forces with a concomitant increase in Special Operations Forces (SOF) and CIA paramilitary. Troop strength overall could be reduced - even with an increase in SOF. The use of SOF and CIA Special Acitivities Division (SAD) personnel is not often popular because of suspicions of “cowboyism”, but these fears and suspicions are unwarranted. SOF and SAD personnel can be more “intensively” effective in intelligence collection and counterterroism efforts than regular military can be “extensively”. In addition, the covert nature of this involvement reduces the risk of ideological reaction in country, particularly if the personnel are thinking more long-term: 3 to 5 years. A long time? Yes, but I think the possiblity of reaching the goals set forth by the direction I call for is more probably than the ill-defined goals that are being suggested using the present strategy. I see this as an unfortunate turn of events, and casualties will only increase as we begin to experience what the British and Soveits did before us. How does the old saying go….”history repeats itself because no one is listening”
Great interview,…but I was taken back a bit by the Euroean communities statement of how the muslims are a growing population,and eventually will,..or have an adverse effect on the indigenous home-grown populations demographics? Trying to stay objective here,…but the underlying tone suggest a moritorium on birthing rites? The United States is having growing pains with it’s latin population (the browning of America),and by 2025 the population will be predominately of Hispanic culture,which has the anglo-white population quite concerned. Their (white & black american) country could be coming to a slow methodical death under centuries of anglo-saxon political/social/cultural control. Finally, regarding the religous point-of-view,…America loves the Latin migration ,…so does the Christian Church,but that’s,OK…because it is the correct religion? Remember, Minerets are symbolic to the Holy Mosque,as is the Cross to Christianity,..as is the Star of David to the Jewish Temple, they go together to create the whole. Thanks

It’s so hard to figure out what to do in situation that Muslims use all democratic liberties and sensitivities that Western countries that are available there but afford so little to non-Muslims in Muslim countries. I agree with the view that Afganistan cannot be conquered by military force,this victory could be only short lived. Possibly giving incentives to young generation, prompting them to turn to modern ways of life, to show different opportunities.
