Diplobamacy…

You get to employ a carrot + stick approach when you are talking. When you isolate, it’s just stick. So the opposite side hardens, and 3rd parties don’t come over to your side of the matter — saw a cool site; Balkingpoints ; incredible satellite view of earth

Sorry, but the two guest were nothing more than weathered sounding boards… shirlly echoing apriorism palindrome mired in parochial prejudices.Time for a change…?

This is a sad momnet for your program. Where are your producers and where the anchor. Not good at all. To have these very intellegent men and not to have the proper production is indeed a sad thing. Hope someone will be fired over this

Either James Rubin made a verbal “foot in mouth”, or he revealed what HAS to be CLASSIFIED information.

He distinctly said in commenting about CHINA that the PRC not only helped Pakistan with nuclear development, but had in fact delivered ACTUAL nuclear devices to the Pakistan gov’t.

I am sure James Rubin will stumble all over himself, and try to “spin” what he said, but his words are on the video, and it will be interesting to see how (if) he can put those words back in the bottle, my quess is NOT. And I hope World Focus (BBC) and other journalists follow-up on this.

President Obama will view this trip to Asia with regret. Nothing was achieved. Obama humiliated America and the Chinese now know they hold the upper hand. Obama’s naivete and inexperience was abundantly clear to America and the world! The Chinese now know they can bully this weak President. Obama’s bow to the Emperor of Japan will be remembered because it perfectly tells the world how weak and troubled the United States is. Obama, more than likely, will never recover from that Asian trip. Obama showed weakness and a self-consciousness that the Chinese, Iranians, Russians, and North Koreans looked at and took glory in.

I’ve heard nothing but gushing reports from Mr Rose on US-Israel foreign policy since I started watching the show in February. As long as the rampant liberalization of China’s economy is in line with Israel’s interests in the region, Mr Rose & Mr Rubin appear perfectly happy that the US President is without a leg to stand on with Iran. Instead Mr Rose appears delighted about the present detente between the G8+1 and Iran on proliferation. Being educated Mr Rose can count the disparity in warheads between Israel and Iran and feel secure that pro-Israeli diplomacy is ruling the day. It should not require a socialistic dropout like myself to point out to these gentlemen that managing proliferation with economic warfare is not a zero-sum game. The US ‘military engagements’ in Iraq and Af-Pak have done nothing to change US national interests except rising deficits while Israel’s influence waxes. Just because the last 50 years have more or less played into Israel’s hands does not mean that they may play at being the globalized Switzerland of Africa forever. A Fajr-5 or two from Gaza with nuclear tips will be enough to change these gentlemen’s minds about the efficacy of the Chimerica relationship to bring the world powers in line with the pro-Israel lobby.
