Pakistani army offensive faces huge obstacles in Waziristan

Anthony Cordesman of the Center for Strategic and International Studies joins Daljit Dhaliwal to discuss the offensive in South Waziristan, Pakistan, and the latest developments in Afghanistan.

Cordesman explains how foreign fighters are playing a role in the conflict and the obstacles blocking success for the Pakistani military.

Al Jazeera English’s Kamal Hyder reports from South Waziristan on the Pakistani army’s claims of progress against the Taliban — only one month after the offensive began.

Interesting, I guess these days being “BROWN” and speak with a British accent qualifies one to be a journalist, and to report on ethnic people of the world, in her reporting on November 18, 2009 “Pakistani army offensive faces huge obstacles in Waziristan” Ms. Dhaliwal, said that Pakistan Army is fighting Pakistani Taliban in the “PROVINCE” of south Waziristan. What a preposterous way to report, not even knowing that there is no such Province in Pakistan. “World Focus” claims that they do in-depth reporting. Is this how you do your research? GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!!!!
