On East Asian tour, Obama engages ascendant China

U.S. President Barack Obama visited Shanghai to meet with Chinese leaders and hold a town hall meeting with university students. The American leader stressed the interdependence between the U.S. and the Asian giant.

During the town hall meeting, Obama emphasized how much work needs to be done on climate change and other areas of multilateral cooperation.
