Having been stationed as a Marine in Iwakuni, Japan in 1960, I actually support withdrawal of US military from Japan. It’s long past time that the US surrenders its military presence there. In fact, I’m actually “fed up” with this nation’s persistent military aggression throughout the world. I’m also “fed up” with the egoistic male-based notion that “We ARE and will remain #1 in the world.

For one, that’s actually a “lie”. No empire ever survived for its ego at the level of organization inevitably caused its demise from within. Too, in real terms, the greatest “terrorist” and military “bully” in the world is the western powers, including as “point” the US, and this is purely “non-sustainable” even for those who think we can become a “one world government.”

The amount of monetary and human resources spent by America in overt and covert military and intelligence operations far exceeds that devoted to caring for our own people and wellbeing at home.

Close the bases there, bring the troops home, stop messing around in the affairs of other countries, stop excessive funding of the military-industrial complex, and devote those saving to greater health and wellbeing at home.
