Deforestation in Malaysia threatens glow of fireflies

Tourists flock to Malaysia to take in the spectacle of the country’s millions of fireflies.

Seeing the fireflies at Kuala Selangor was one of the most magical sites of nature I have seen along with the butterfly migration in Mexico. Both which are threatened by industry. There are many places industry can take place but only a few where fireflies and butterflies can entrance us.
