Elite private medicine in India doesn’t reach rural areas

The elite private medical facilities in India’s urban areas have not reached the most rural parts of the country.

Prerna Suri of Al Jazeera English reports how patients walk for miles to reach hospitals, some of which serve over 35,000 people.
