Love your show — disappointed in your “This Week” commentators. Would appreciate a more balanced team. Thanks. D. Walters

A balanced reportage would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you should even consider a, *gasp*, right leaning contributor.

It looks like the Library of Congress link isn’t working here. It’s probably some great right wing conspiracy. So I’m posting another link which links to it. Thank you for your time.

The 2003 invasion of Iraq was not the accomplishment of Bush alone. When Carla Robbins says, “Let us say that it began before that,” I am sure that she is alluding to 1998 when President Clinton paved the way for regime change by signing the “Iraq Liberation Act”

The stated purpose of the act was “To establish a program to support a transition to democracy in Iraq.” and by way to achieve that, “It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq”

Here is a link to the act, which is stored at the Library of Congress:

I am upset that Bush gets all the credit for this, and that people have forgotten that the removal of Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, was first authorized by my husband.

Sincerely,
Hillary C.

On January 20th 2009 we can all breathe a sigh of relief, because America’s standing in the world will be restored; and the world will once again love the USA. Look how much the Iranians love President-Elect Obama already. They feel the hope that Obama will bring to the world.

Michael Couch, you are right on target, Thank You. Even in Sylvia Browne’s book SECRET SOCIETIES, she brings up the very great possibility of how The Illuminati, the CFR, and The Bilderberg Group are very much in control of what is going on – and our fantastic country is being set up! America doesn’t deserve to be taken down the road to destruction. But it is in the works: The North American Union will unite America, Canada and Mexico into on great “happy family”, where we will loose our soveriegnty. Then there is The Trans Texas Corridor that will be the main connector. Emminant domain will be used to take away people’s homes and land. It’s a “head shaker”, and unbelievable that Spain and Australia are a part of this Texas Corridor to take advantage of us!
We are a great nation, based on great people who have given up so much to keep it strong, now what? Did they do all that for us to loose our Democracy? I hope not!
What we need now is to bring back our industries, or manufacturing companies and take charge of our land! We must get back to being producres, not just computer pushers! We just have to get back to being self-supportive and strong! We are so very much in debt to other countries that the only way out is building and rebuilding industries for people to work in! We are tough, we can do this! America is worth it.

This was horrible & biased reporting & should have been better moderated by Martin Savidge. C. Robbins was uninformed of the leadup to 9/11 & the Iraq war.The latter was approved by a great majority of the US congress.R. Haas was not much better, although he acknowledged AIDS funding. He should also have mentioned quadrupling aid to Africa, increased veterans’ benefits, education reform, the most support for Isreal in history, & no terrorist attacks in the USA after 9/11.Next time, present balanced reporting or you will lose informed viewers such as me.

I like your program but when you get a “bush hater” and a “bush critic” to talk about the Bush legacy, well, its not exactly balanced. In fact, it was the usual distorted non-sense.

The US has not been attacked after 9/11.
Libya has given up its nuclear program.
Iraq is not an enemy.
Etc.

I’m appalled that so called “news” organizations continue to pretend that 9/11 was a terrorist attack. I’d expect better from PBS even though the Oil/Energy Companies funnel money into it to keep them quiet. If you can’t remember the facts that prove it was an inside job. Why don’t you launch an actual investigation to “verify” the official story. If you do that honestly, the facts will inform you.

George Bush and Dick Cheney’s legacy was a pseudo terror attack to launch takeover actions on Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Venezuela. Fortunately enough of us knew what was going on and we yelled loud enough to stop some of it. Shame on PBS for playing along with it, instead of exposing it.

I told a crowd in Union Square last Spring that the New World Order Bankers had planned a total U.S. Economic Collapse for September 2009, to scare everyone into a one world currency system. How come I knew it and you didn’t? Yes, conspiracy is weird fringe stuff; that doesn’t mean a “news agency” can ignore it, when it is true.

World Focus is terrific! I especially enjoy the lack of bombast and propaganda present on many news programs. Keep up the great work.
