Neva,

Clyde is correct; we simply do not have distribution rights (because of our foreign partners’ content) to put the full show online. You can still watch the interviews and signature pieces on the Web site. Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Neva: The video may not have distribution rights in Canada. I doubt it has anything to do with the government.

Roger: Daljit is the best thing on TV, hands down.

We love Daljit, she adds a lot to the show, in terms of gravity, poise, and intelligence. Worldfocus is better with her. Have her on more often!

The Canadian government is far too involved in Canadian life. As a result Canadians aren’t motivated to do well. They don’t like to see people succeed and make money. They don’t understand competition — hence, blocked access to content on websites such as this one.

All my business suppliers are in the United States, because it is simply too difficult to deal with incompetent and/or unmotivated companies in Canada.

Canada’s “universal” healthcare system is completely broken. Many people don’t even have doctors. People face months-long waiting lists for urgent medical care. The system is very badly managed and filled with civil servants who make or waste too much money. Canadians cringe at the thought of a two-tiered (private/public) medical system, because they are jealous of wealthier Canadians who are able to pay for the healthcare of their choice, even though those who use the system reap the benefits of the unused healthcare taxes of those who choose to opt out.

Canada is the landing ground for the world’s dispossessed — funded by an overtaxed system. No need for papers or a passport if you want to move to Canada. Canada’s politicians don’t know the meaning of “exponential.” They have never given a thought to the negative consequences to the environment from the exponential population growth resulting from Canada’s misguided immigration and refugee policies.

I am against gay marriage. I think the idea is ridiculous. Gays have all the legal rights they need without marriage. They have more special rights than I have as a single person.

Also, Jeremy, I would like to call you on your description of Barack Obama as “coloured,” an odious pre-1960’s description. What on earth does that mean? All of us, except albinos, have coloured pigment in our skin; therefore, if you insist on using the word, it must apply to all of us. Barack Obama belongs to the same race to which we all belong, the one and only human race, and he is an American. Period.

And one more thing about Canada. We are on the verge of a political coup. May as well bring in the army. Two ex-politicians, neither one of whom has been voted into current office, have orchestrated a plan to bring down the government, just a few months after the taxpayers paid for an election!! By the way one of those two politicians was the prime minister when his party stole over $300 million dollars from the taxpayers in the Sponsorship Scandal!

What makes you think that all the thing you cite about Canada are “moving forward”. To me they appear ever more backward. Government should not take away the peoples voice by imposing/forcing its will upon individuals. Whether a person agrees or not with universal healthcare, it is not a good thing for us, the individuals, to pass off the responsibility for caring to a central government, we should be looking after our own backyards.

Why is it that Canadians are not able to watch World Focus online. It outrages me. I’m so sick of living in this backward country.

You think that Canada is backwards. It is probably nothing compared to the United States. The United States does not have Universal Healthcare, or leagalized gay marriage nationwide. At least Canada has Universal Healthcare, leaglized gay marriage, affordable college, a drinking age of 18, and a decent educational system. The United States hasn’t acomplished Univerasal Health, people are still against gay marriage in the US, People the USA still think it is a bad idea to lower the age to buy alochal at 18, college costs keep going up in the USA, and the USA education system is having a hard time competing. At least the USA is heading in the right direction by electing the first colored head of state. At least with Barack Obama being elected President the USA can move forward like Canada and the rest of the world.
