Israeli cabinet approves Gaza ground invasion

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni traveled to Cairo, meeting with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to discuss Israel’s reaction to increased rocket attacks from inside Gaza. Livni’s visit came on the heels of a report that Israeli cabinet ministers had approved a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip.

Benjamin Krasna, Israel’s deputy consul general in New York, joins Daljit Daliwal to discuss the deteriorating situation in the Middle East.

May I humbly suggest that the next time Hamas initiates a rocket attack on Israel, that Israel respond by making a public and international request to all her critics, requesting that they advise on how Israel should respond. Let Turkey and these critics tell Israel whether they are to sit back and do nothing, or give Israel some advice on how they expect it to respond.
