I would also like to help Shams. Perhaps we can coordinate an effort. I also received contact information. oscarsmom@comcast.net

I was equally affected by Sham’s story. I was provided the father’s contact info in Baghdad by the shows producers. I am in the process of forwarding that info and her story to UNICEF Iraq to see what the best way to help this poor child could be. I am a person of modest means but her story has affected me so much that I feel obligated to do all I can. If anyone would like to offer me advice or just brainstorm about how we can help this little girl feel free to email me at johnzicari@gmail.com.

I would agree; it is far too painful to know that nothing can be done for this little girl. I should think that your newsgroup can serve as a conduit for funds that will allow little Shams and her relative to take her to Europe that will restore her sight.

Is there information regarding donations for the little girl that was injuried by the bomb in Iraq featured on your show of December 11th?
