Middle East reacts to U.S.-Iraqi security pact

At the beginning of the week, the Iraqi cabinet approved a security pact with the U.S. — providing for complete American withdrawal by the end of 2011. Followers of anti-U.S. cleric Moqtada al-Sadr protested the agreement, doubting that the U.S. will actually leave.

Ivan Watson, a National Public Radio foreign correspondent, speaks to Martin Savidge from Baghdad about Friday’s protests.
