Government can prevent another Great Depression

Peter Coy, economics editor of Business Week magazine, speaks with Martin Savidge about where the world economy stands and where it might be headed. Coy describes the need for government intervention in the economy and puts this week’s events into a historical perspective — pointing out that the current drop in stock prices has not been seen since the Great Depression.

i think we are already in a depression. There is so many people out of work. Businesses are filing for bankruptcy every week. This is very sad.
