Saudi prince pumps money into Citigroup

Citigroup’s largest shareholder, Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal, is planning to increase his stake in the company by buying tens of millions of shares, though the shares have slumped recently.

Paul Blustein, a journalist at the Brookings Institution, joins Martin Savidge to discuss U.S. dependence on foreign investment and the future of these investments given huge losses. They also discuss other American companies that are courting foreign investors, such as General Electric.
