Are Iran and Syria going nuclear?

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations nuclear watchdog, says that Iran has now made about one 1,390 pounds of enriched uranium. Sources tell The New York Times that this amount of uranium is enough for Iran to potentially make one atomic bomb.

Michael Levi, author of “On Nuclear Terrorism,” explains the IAEA’s statement and comments on a separate report implying that Syria may also be seeking nuclear weapons.
