The world expects real changes from Obama

In his victory speech, President-elect Barack Obama addressed foreign onlookers.

To all those watching from beyond our shores, our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand.

Richard Holbrooke, an assistant secretary of state for European and Canadian affairs in the Clinton administration, speaks with Martin Savidge about the world’s perceptions and expectations of Obama.

Holbrooke, a former ambassador to the United Nations, is touted as a possible secretary of state in the Obama administration.
