Pakistan summons U.S. ambassador as tensions rise

U.S. missile attacks on Pakistan’s border region prompted Pakistan’s government to summon U.S. ambassador Anne Patterson to stop cross-border raids.

Pakistan’s former UN ambassador Ahmad Kamal speaks with Martin Savidge about U.S.-Pakistan relations. Kamal explains that the word “tension” may be too strong to describe the relationship, as Pakistan must ensure its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
