Armed groups displace people in Colombia

Human rights groups estimate that over 270,000 Colombians have been displaced in the first half of 2008 by rebels, right-wing paramilitary groups and drug cartels.

Maria McFarland, a senior researcher at Human Rights Watch, speaks with Martin Savidge about Colombia’s displaced population and the role of the U.S. government.
