North Korea declares restart of nuclear reactor

North Korean expert Leon Sigal explains the country’s decision to restart nuclear reactor in the context of the U.S.’s failure to remove North Korea from its list of state-sponsored terrorists. Sigal believes the reversal of this decision is possible if the U.S. cooperates with North Korea’s request.

The public needs expert testimony such as that offered by Mr. Sigal. This information should be made broadly available.

This is crazy, I had no idea about this being our government’s fault. This is what happens when our foreign policy is almost non-existent.

And the fact that Mr. Sigal says that we can get ourselves out of this mess if we just act quickly is more infuriating (because it’s pretty clear we won’t).
